The State of Florida requirements for a licensed guard are as follows:

• Individuals must be at least 18 years old.
• Pass a background check.
• 40 hours of basic classroom training in such subjects as property rights, emergency procedures, and detention of suspected criminals.
• Legal resident or U.S. citizen.

To retain their license security officers must be recertified every 2 years by taking the required courses. As such, the training academy will be available for those individuals. To ensure that our security personnel are trained of the highest standard, each of our officers will go through our training academy. Each officer will be required to complete a minimum of four hours of extended training per month after receiving his or her security license.
